Terms of Service

Last updated: August 30, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using EatPay, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Use of Service

EatPay provides a platform for ordering food from workplace cafeterias. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account
  • Use the service only for lawful purposes
  • Not interfere with or disrupt the service

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Orders and Payments

All orders are subject to acceptance by the cafeteria. Prices are as displayed at the time of order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Payment, cancellation, and refund requests

Orders are prepared by independent cafeterias. Payments are not automatically refundable once a payment has been confirmed. A cancellation, failed payment, duplicate charge, unavailable item, or other issue must be reported promptly so EatPay and the cafeteria can review it under the applicable payment-provider rules and law.

When you place an order on EatPay, your mobile money provider (Airtel Money, MTN Mobile Money, or Zamtel Kwacha) will send you a PIN confirmation prompt. By entering and confirming your PIN, you are providing explicit authorisation of the payment. This action constitutes a binding confirmation that you have reviewed and accepted your order and its associated cost.

After a PIN is confirmed:

  • The payment request is authorised for the order shown at checkout.
  • Cancellation options may be limited once the cafeteria has accepted or started preparing the order.
  • Any payment reversal or refund is subject to the mobile-money provider, the cafeteria, EatPay's review, and applicable law.

Before confirming a PIN, check the cafeteria, items, and total carefully. Contact support promptly if you believe a payment was made in error.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on EatPay, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of EatPay or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

EatPay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
